Therapy Updates in Type 2 Diabetes

Overview:

Although primary care is a center point for diabetes management, it has become increasingly complex as a result of multiple medication categories among other factors. During this presentation, Dr. Oralia Bazaldua will summarize new updates in the treatment of type 2 diabetes (T2DM) and reinforce selected points using patient cases. She will also revisit important best practices.

Objectives:

• Summarize new drugs for Type 2 DM
• Discuss the summary of revisions in the standards of medical care in diabetes 2022
• Review patient cases to put new updates into practice
