Overview:

During this presentation, Dr. Stephen Kraus will review the more common indications for urinary catheter followed by review of alternative options for catheters. He will then focus on the different types of mechanical drainage options along with the pros and cons of each.  Finally, Dr. Kraus will discuss typical problems associated with catheters as well as touch upon hematuria and infections in face of catheters.

  3.  Know the basics of catheter care
  4.  Be more comfortable knowing when to treat catheter related Infections
