Integrated Geriatrics and Hospice & Palliative Medicine Fellowship
The Integrated Fellowship is an ABIM pilot program allowing fellows to interleave required rotations for Hospice and Palliative Medicine and Geriatric Medicine across 2 years. Fellows in this track gain increased elective time to devote to clinical and academic interests that they would not have if they completed each fellowship separately. Fellows pursuing this track are frequently interested in careers in leadership or academics. At the end of the 2 year integrated fellowship, fellows are eligible for board certification in both fields.
Program Highlights:
- Fellows complete all rotations required of the Geriatric Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowships
- After completion of the 2-year program fellows become board-eligible for both Geriatric Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine
