MIMG Postdocs Place 1st and 3rd at SAPRF

Congratulations to Drs. Anna Korchagina and Benjamin Enslow for placing in the poster presentation competition at the Ninth Annual San Antonio Postdoctoral Research Forum.

Dr. Korchagina received the 1st place award for her poster presentation entitled “Ltβr Signaling Promotes Innate Lymphoid Cell-Driven Intestinal Pathology in Campylobacter Jejuni Infection,” and Dr. Enslow received the 3rd place award for his poster presentation entitled “INKT cells facilitate T-BET + B cell expansion in adipose tissue, but not in liver or omentum during obesity.”

The San Antonio Postdoctoral Research Forum is a research and networking symposium that is comprised of many research institutions in San Antonio, including the Naval Medical Research Unit San Antonio, Texas Biomedical Research Institute, United States Army Institute of Surgical Research, University of Texas San Antonio, and UT Health San Antonio. Among such prestigious participants, Dr. Korchagina’s and Dr. Enslow’s research and presentations were acknowledged as exceptional by the symposium judges and colleagues alike.

Drs. Korchagina and Enslow are valued members of The Department of Microbiology, Immunology & Molecular Genetics at UT Health San Antonio and great researchers. We are proud of their outstanding achievement and send our heartfelt congratulations!
