Laboratory safety is an important aspect of science and is critical to both the health and safety of our researchers, clinicians, students, educators, and ultimately to the mission of UT Health San Antonio. Laboratories who demonstrate a commitment to laboratory safety will receive the “Superior Lab Safety Award” as recognition to their efforts to maintain a positive culture of safety.
