New Equipment

We have a new MIMG plate reader that will be installed in the common equipment room on the 4th floor on Nov 14th. Training will also be available and provided by Agilent (BioTek). Please email Sebastiaan Bol to register for this training (time will be announced later). We listened to your wishes and feel this machine, while still being affordable, meets all requirements. From the Agilent website: “The system is ideal for assays including nucleic acid and protein quantification, ELISA, BCA, Bradford, and cell viability.” It has filter-free absorbance, linear and orbital shaking, can read 6 to 384 well plates, fluorescence, and luminescence.”
