Meetings
Fellows may attend conference of their respective membership (see above), with reimbursement up to balance remaining in account.

Medical Book/Electronic Device Allowance
Fellow receives $350 at the start of each academic year to utilize for continuing medical education expenses, e.g. medical books, other memberships, registrations, travel expenses for annual Meeting etc.  At the end of each year, the remaining balance rolls over for the next year (for 2nd year fellows only)

Meals, Parking, and Uniforms
-Meals provided at most conferences
-Free parking at UHS
-Embroidered white lab coats and scrubs are provided at no cost to incoming residents

Annual Leave
(Neurophysiology, Vascular, Neuromuscular, Epilepsy)
PTO – 15 working days paid leave per year; cannot be carried over
Sick Leave – 10 working days per year for injury or illness; cannot be carried over except as determine by program and UHS Professional Staff Services
Parental/Medical/Caregiver Leave – Each Training Year, Residents participating in an ACGME-Accredited Residency Program are eligible for six-weeks of paid leave for approved parental, medical or caregiver purposes which prevents the resident from performing his or her job.  It will run concurrently with any remaining sick or vacation leave.  In addition to six weeks of paid leave, residents are also eligible for one additional week of Paid Time Off and must be used within the same training year and does not carry over.

Movement Disorders & Neuropsychology fellows receive leave as UT employees: 16 days PTO (80 hours max carryover into 2nd year), accrue 8 hours of Extended Illness per month, up to 6 weeks of Paid Family Leave, and 3 floating holidays
