Goal
The Long School of Medicine Office for Research has partnered with UT Health Institutes to jointly support collaborative and cross disciplinary research projects that will lead to lead to NIH multi-PI and Program Project awards.
- Glenn Biggs Institute for Alzheimer’s and Neurodegenerative Diseases
- Barshop Institute for Longevity and Aging
- Greehey Children’s Cancer Research Institute
- Institute for Integration of Medicine & Science
This program supports funding in 4 broad thematic research areas:
- Cancer Biology and Therapeutics
- Neurological Sciences and Disorders
- Immunology, Infectious Diseases, and the Microbiome
- Metabolic Diseases and Treatments
Multi PI Pilot Research Project Details
- A LSOM primary appointment is required for the PI.
Up to $75,000 each for one year.
