I have [amount of time] available [timeframe e.g. each week/beginning August 1/etc.] to dedicate to a project, could we set up a time to discuss working in your lab?. Did you know we have dedicated student research liaisons for each class? The liaisons serve as a bridge between the Office for Research and medical students and as the leaders for the Medical Student Research Interest Group.
