Application Process
The residency program accepts applications from November 1st to January 31st each year. Interviews are conducted in February. The residency program starts in early July each year.
Application Process:
Ensure you meet the following eligibility requirements:
- BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (current or eligible by the start of the program)
- Licensed Athletic Trainer in Texas (current or eligible by the start of the program)
- Graduate of an accredited Master’s program in Athletic Training
- Current CPR Certification
Application Requirements:
Complete all requested information on RF-ATCAS
- 2 professional letters of recommendation that speak to your unique qualities and experiences that make you qualified for this position.
- Recommendations from supervisors or preceptors is preferred to recommendations from educators.
- Copy of Texas License of Athletic Training (or anticipated completion date)
- Copy of BOC license (or anticipated completion date)
- Cover letter explaining why you are applying for this athletic training residency program in rehabilitation and why you would be the best choice for this position.
