Personal Statement:

Dr. Alexis Maximos is an academic clinician-educator. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and then her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit.  She completed residency training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology fellowship at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC. Her clinical activities include inpatient work at University hospital and outpatient GI clinic and endoscopy at both the Medical Arts and Research Center of UT Health Physicians and the Robert B. Green Campus of University Health System.
