Gabriel A. Gabriel A. Magraner, MDMagraner, MD

We are pleased to highlight Gabriel A. Magraner, MD, a valued member of the Division of Gastroenterology and Nutrition at UT San Antonio.

Dr. Magraner is a distinguished gastroenterologist, educator, and clinical leader with more than three decades of service in academic medicine, military medicine, and community practice. He completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at UT Health San Antonio, launching a career defined by exceptional patient care, a commitment to medical education, and leadership across multiple institutions in San Antonio.

Dr. Magraner is an exemplary educator, a walking encyclopedia of gastroenterology and hepatology, and is addressed fondly by all the trainees as “Papi”.
