What are your clinical interests?

  • General GI, screening and prevention, quality improvement, cost effectiveness

What are your hobbies and favorite activities outside of medicine?

  • I enjoy exercising, especially weight lifting, DIY projects, trying new recipes, walking my dog Tank and spending time with my husband, family and friends.

What is the best thing about San Antonio?

  • I love how the culture here is so celebrated by the city. No other city gets two weeks of Fiesta! The energy is contagious. It makes me feel so proud to serve the people that make this city what it is.

Why would you recommend the UTHSA GI fellowship?

  • The people, including attendings, co-fellows and other staff create an incredibly friendly and supportive environment. You are challenged in a busy academic center with a wide variety of pathology. This program provides early hands-on experience and has dedicated weekly didactic time for the program.
