GI Fellow - PGY4

Personal Statement:

What are your hobbies and favorite activities outside of medicine?

  • I love dancing (San Antonio has a ton of fun Latin dance classes), yoga, traveling, biking, cooking and trying out new restaurants.

What do you like about San Antonio? Or what are you most excited to experience in San Antonio?

  • Having done residency here, the city definitely has definitely grown on me – it’s a big city but with a relaxed feel. Its extremely affordable with great (warm but no snow) weather all year round. The best thing though, is the culture and the people!

Why would you recommend the UTHSA GI fellowship?

  • Having done my Internal Medicine training at UT Health San Antonio, I always loved and admired the supportive culture of the program, where the faculty and co-fellows felt like one big family that now I am so happy to be a part of! Additionally, the fellowship provides excellent clinical training both hands on and didactic with a wide range of diverse pathology in general GI, pancreas and hepatology.
