What are your clinical interests? 

  • Management of patients with cirrhosis and liver transplantation.

What are your hobbies and favorite activities outside of medicine?

  • Singing Disney songs to my 5-month-old daughter, eating pizza and watching Netflix with my husband, listening to epic fantasies on audible.

What is the best thing about San Antonio? 

  • The people.

  • Cystatin C as a Renal Biomarker in Liver Transplant Candidates • Aim: to understand the role of serum Cystatin C as an alternative to creatinine in estimating renal function in end stage liver disease patients as well as its role in predicting clinical outcomes. • Status: poster and oral presentations complete (Transplant Plenary session at Liver Meeting, November 2019).
