Personal Statement:

What are your hobbies and favorite activities outside of medicine?

  • Having grown up in Colorado, I love to snow ski and travel to the mountains any time I can! I also enjoy Pilates, binge watching TV series, and spending time with my husband and our two rescue dogs.

What do you like about San Antonio?

  • The people and culture! Everyone is very friendly. San Antonio is a large city with the “feel” of a smaller town.

Why would you recommend the UTHSA GI fellowship?

  • We have amazing faculty who offer incredible teaching. The camaraderie amongst fellows and faculty is special and fosters a supportive environment. We train in multiple different settings allowing for diverse pathology.
