Determining the efficacy of the polymerase and exoribonuclease inhibitors against SARS-CoV-2. We use the recombinant SARS-CoV-2 virus that expresses mCherry or luciferase to quantify the antiviral activity of the inhibitors.

David Kadosh, Ph.D. receives R56 Award

Dr. David Kadosh was awarded an R56 from NIH recently “Regulation of Candida albicans gene expression in response to host environmental stresses.” Project period is 8/1/23-7/31/24. Congratulations.

The Conklyn Mini-Symposium

The Conklyn Family Endowment in Autoimmune Research sponsored the student led Conklyn Mini-Symposium in July 2023 was a huge success. The next symposium will be in the Summer of 2024. 2024 MIMG Annual Retreat

Bruce Beutler, M.D., winner of the 2011 Nobel prize in Physiology or Medicine will be the invited speaker for the Annual MIMG Retreat to be held in the Greehey Auditorium on April 15, 2024.
