The training involves an extensive combination of inpatient and outpatient services with excellent surgical training in limb salvage, plastic surgery, trauma, podopediatrics, and reconstructive forefoot, rearfoot and ankle surgery.
UT Health San Antonio Fellowship in Amputation Prevention and Research
The UT Health San Antonio fellowship programs have produced many of the leaders in the fields of diabetic foot and limb salvage. The Fellow will work on a multidisciplinary team caring for patients at risk for amputation and participate in research, public speaking, and publishing. The Fellow is considered junior faculty and will participate in the education of residents and students.
