Lalitha Sivaswamy is a child neurologist with special interest in pediatric stroke and headache disorders of childhood. She is a Professor of Pediatrics and Neurology and Vice Chair of Department of Pediatrics at Central Michigan University and Division Chief of Child Neurology, Children’s Hospital of Michigan. She is a graduate of Madras Medical College, India. She worked as a primary care pediatrician for several years before taking up child neurology and headache training at Wayne State University in Detroit. Dr. Sivaswamy has a keen interest in resident and student education and mentors several trainees towards their research and educational goals. She has authored several peer reviewed publications in the field of pediatric stroke and pediatric headache medicine.
