The Vaping Epidemic:  Learning to Ask, Counsel and Treat

Objectives:
To increase awareness and education for pediatric providers

Dr. Sirota is a pediatrician in independent primary care practice for over 25 years. She received her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago (formerly Children’s Memorial Hospital) where she also served as a chief resident. She is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine where she has been recognized for excellence in teaching and is the 2022 recipient of the Department of Pediatrics Distinguished Individual Contributed Service Award. Dr. Sirota is the Chief Medical Officer and Chairperson of PediaTrust, a large pediatric group practice without walls. Dr. Sirota is a national leader in pediatric practice management, pediatric telehealth, and the innovation of pediatric practice. In addition to serving as an AAP E-Cigarette Chapter Champion, she is active in the AAP’s Section on Administration and Practice Management and serves on the AAP National Conference and Exhibition Planning Group.
