Overview:
Impact of Race and Insurance type on in-hospital mortality in children with traumatic injury

Objectives:
To increase awareness and education for pediatric providers

Daniela Tenorio, MD is originally from Colombia, where she obtained her medical degree. She then moved to the United States in 2014 and completed her Pediatric Residency in Brooklyn, NYC. After residency she moved to San Antonio in 2020 to join fellowship in Critical Care. She is currently a third-year fellow and will be completing her fellowship soon.

Twiza Mambwe, MD received her MD from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine in 2017. Subsequently she completed her pediatric residency training at Staten Island University Hospital Northwell Health before moving to San Antonio in 2020 to begin her pediatric critical care medicine fellowship. She is currently a third-year fellow and after completing her fellowship, she will be moving to Houston to complete a 1-year pediatric cardiovascular critical intensive care fellowship.
