Mansour M Zadeh, PhD, is a cellular and molecular immunologist, Dis􀆟nguished Professor and Director, Center for Mucosal & Microbiome Biology at UT Health San Antonio. Dr. Zadeh received his Bachelor of Science. Master of Science and PhD degrees in Cellular & Molecular Immunology from Johannes Gutenberg University in Germany. Dr. Zadeh’s research is focused on studying the interac􀆟on of gut microbiome and the associated metabolites (e.g., vitamin B12) with the hosts during steady states and pro-inflammatory diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Dr. Zadeh’s goal is to robustly establish an advanced scien􀆟fic pla􀆞orm in cellular and molecular mucosal immunology and microbiome research by suppor􀆟ng the educa􀆟on of both basic and clinical scien􀆟sts. Dr. Zadeh’s research and educa􀆟onal endeavors are geared toward crea􀆟ng an environment that facilitates a commitment to innova􀆟ve research excellence and pa􀆟ent care.
