PDA stenting in CHD

Objectives:
To increase awareness and education for pediatric providers

Dr. Howaida El Said is the director of the cardiac catheteriza􀆟on laboratory at Rady Children’s Hospital and Professor of Pediatric Cardiology at University of California San Diego. She completed her residency, fellowship, as well as interven􀆟onal cardiology and cardiac imaging training at Baylor College of Medicine. She is cer􀆟fied in Adult Congenital Heart Diseases. Her area of interest is PDA sten􀆟ng, its techniques, and its effect on the long-term outcomes of infants with congenital heart diseases. She is also interested in advanced cardiac imaging including 3D to improve visualiza􀆟on during cardiac catheteriza􀆟on.
