Update on Pediatric Liver Diseases & Transplantation

Objectives:
To increase awareness and education for pediatric providers

Naveen K. Mittal, MD received his medical training in India, UK and in the US. His interests include various diseases of liver, intestine, pancreas, nutrition, abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting, feeding disorder, abnormal liver function, fatty liver, short gut syndrome, IBD, IBS, and Cystic Fibrosis. Dr. Mittal joined UT Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) in 2009 in the Department of Pediatrics and in the UTHSCSA Transplantation Center. His current appointment at the UTHSCSA gives him the opportunity to shape his dream of leading a comprehensive division of pediatric gastroenterology with a complete array of advanced clinical programs including rehabilitation of the failed liver, intestine, pancreas, and transplantation of various gastro-intestinal organs.
