Addiction Medicine Fellowship

Message From Our Program Director

UT Health San Antonio is proud to offer an ACGME-accredited Fellowship in Addiction Medicine, this Fellowship is focused on prevention, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with the disease of addiction.  During the 12-months of training, Fellows rotate through a variety of clinical settings and learn from a variety of excellent teaching faculty.  Clinical experience is supplemented with weekly didactic sessions, Grand Rounds, and Journal Club.  Fellows also have protected time and mentorship towards self-directed scholarly activities or research projects.  Board eligibility requirements will be complete after 12-months of training.
