Resident Research

Many past and current residents have published in major journals and presented at national conferences.

All residents are required to complete one research project during their residency training. The project may be in the form of a review article, small case series, case report, or original research.

In addition, the Rehabilitation Medicine Department at UT Health San Antonio requires all residents to complete a QI project to help further improve outcomes in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
