Dermatology Interest Group (DIG)

Founded in 2008, DIG hopes to serve as a valuable resource to medical students by providing support, faculty contacts, community service, and events.

Our Residency Program

The Division of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery offers an accredited three-year residency training program to educate and train future dermatologists.

Our Patient Care

Our division provides outstanding medical and surgical care for a diverse patient population and serves as the sole academic referral center for about 4.2 million in South Texas.

"We have a dedicated group of teachers and mentors and are so pleased about our residents and medical students who display such brilliance and enthusiasm. We know that they will be future leaders in our specialties." Sandra Osswald, M.D., Division Chief, Division of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery
