5-Star Rating Awarded to UT Nephrology Outpatient Dialysis Units
UT Nephrology prides itself for the comprehensive, compassionate and exceptional care delivered to our patients. One testimony to the great care delivered to our patients is the attainment of 5-star rating by all four outpatient dialysis units served by UT Nephrologists, under the Center for Medicare and Medicaid services’ (CMS) Dialysis Facility Compare (DFC) program. The DFC program assigns 1 to 5 stars to a particular dialysis facility by comparing the reported outcomes with other dialysis facilities nationwide. This rating is achieved by less than 10% of dialysis units nationwide and is granted by the CMS to those units where quality of care delivered is ‘well above average’. We have attained and maintained the 5-star rating since the inception of the program in 2015.
