B.S. Kasinath, MD – Retirement Reception

A reception honoring the retirement of Dr. B. Kasinath, Professor of Medicine in the Division of Nephrology was held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018.

Dr. Kasinath has been a valued member of the faculty since 1990. He has won numerous awards including the Henry Christian Award for Excellence in Research, the Academic Excellence Award by the American Society of Nephrologists of Indian Origin and K.S. He has contributed over 100 original peer-reviewed publications in the fields of diabetic nephropathy, lupus nephritis and most recently in the aging kidney. He has been a true triple threat as an outstanding clinician, educator and researcher in the Division of Nephrology and will be sorely missed.

We congratulate him on an outstanding career as an academic nephrologist and wish him and his wife Uma many happy years after retirement.

Sincerely,
