ADAPT 2.0 Study Initiated
The Department of Neurosurgery is excited to share the news that the ADAPT 2.0 study has been initiated. Justin Mascitelli, MD, serves as the National Principal Investigator for this multi-center effort.
The study was designed to evaluate the effectiveness, safety, and clinical outcomes of the ADAPT 2.0 technique to treat patients with acute ischemic stroke. ADAPT 2.0 is an advanced, direct-aspiration stroke thrombectomy technique that uses Imperative Care’s Zoom System. The approach aims to reduce clot loss and speed up treatment. The overall goal of the study is to advance techniques and technologies that meaningfully improve care for patients affected by acute ischemic stroke
