Brain Injury Awareness Month – Dr. Seifi’s TBI Grand Rounds at BAMC

Because March is Brain Injury Awareness Month, the UT Health Neurocritical Care and Neurosurgery teams would like to emphasize the importance of community outreach regarding this topic.

One example of our outreach is the grand rounds presentation Ali Seifi, MD, FNCS, FCCM, gave earlier this month at the Brook Army Medical Center Department of Medicine discussing the management of traumatic brain injury (TBI).

TBI is often invisible. It can be difficult to detect, but it can affect anyone, especially our veterans and active duty military members.
