Department team members compete at charity softball event.

Residents, fellows, and faculty from the Department of Neurosurgery competed in the annual charity softball tournament sponsored by the Neurosurgery Research and Education Foundation (NREF), the philanthropic arm of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS).

This was our department’s inaugural appearance at the softball tournament. We went 2-1, beating Utah and Wisconsin and losing to Mount Sinai.

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the tournament. We had lots of fun for a great cause. Can’t wait to see what happens next year!
