Dolores’ Story

This past April, 76-year-old Dolores Eggemyer was taken to the Neuro ICU after she suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage caused by a ruptured brain aneurysm. When she arrived, Ali Seifi, MD, FACP, and the rest Neuro Critical Care Team took care of her. She was later treated by Ramesh Grandhi, MD, who performed an endovascular coiling procedure to block the flow of blood into the aneurysm.

Dolores stopped by UHS last week to thank all the doctors and nurses who cared for her and made her full recovery possible.
