Dr. Tarasiewicz Speaks to National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners
Izabela Tarasiewicz, MD, recently led an evening of education for the local chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP). Attendees gained valuable insight into when and why referral to a pediatric neurosurgeon is appropriate, enhancing collaborative care for pediatric patients.
Dr. Tarasiewicz is a professor at UT Health San Antonio with expertise in pediatric neurosurgery. She has been part of the institution for 12 years and serves as the medical director of the Craniofacial Center at University Health. She is board certified by both the American Board of Pediatric Neurological Surgery and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
