IIMS/CTSA Accepts Pilot Project Proposal from Victoria Fischer, MD
The Department of Neurosurgery is proud to announce that Victoria Fischer, MD, has had her pilot project proposal accepted for support by the UT Health San Antonio Institute for Integration of Medicine & Science / Clinical & Translational Science Award (IIMS/CTSA).
The project will explore the mechanism underlying the efficacy of sympathetic ganglion block on aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage-induced vasospasm and delayed cerebral ischemia in collaboration with Dr. Glenn Toney, PhD, of the Department of Cellular and Integrative Physiology.
