Neurosurgery Enrolls First Patient into SEAL™ IT
Team members from the Department of Neurosurgery are excited to announce that they have enrolled their first patient into SEAL™ IT.
SEAL™ IT is an international clinical trial that was created to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the experimental SEAL™ (Saccular Endovascular Aneurysm Lattice) system for treating wide-neck brain aneurysms. There have been 256 total enrollments in the U.S. thus far.
The findings of this study have the potential to advance treatment options for patients with challenging brain aneurysms.
