Gyn Onc Tumor Board Conference every Wednesday 0730 to 0900 a.m.
Gyn Onc Preoperative Conference every Wednesday 2:15 to 3:00 p.m.
Gyn Onc Didactics every Wednesday 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Gyn Onc Journal Club is integrated into Didactics.
Gyn Onc Morbidity and Mortality Conference occurs the last Wednesday of the month from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m.
Each fellow has 2 weeks of vacation time that they coordinate amongst themselves and gain program director approval.
Holiday assignment is coordinated amongst the clinical fellows each year with program director approval.
The second year and third year fellows are 100% clinical. The clinical activities are divided into 50% inpatient care and 50% outpatient/clinic care.
The fellows alternate one week in outpatient/clinic followed by one week on the inpatient service. Exceptions are when the fellows are on off-service rotations.
The fellow on the inpatient service is assigned to the operating room Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesday is reserved for academics.
The inpatient fellow rounds on the Gyn Onc service daily with the resident team and Gyn Onc staff. The inpatient fellow takes home call for the week.
The outpatient fellow is assigned to the Robert Brady Green Gyn Onc clinic Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesday is reserved for academics.
The clinic hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. The outpatient/clinic fellow may occasionally participate in high value surgical procedures as indicated.
