Neuroradiology Fellowship

The neuroradiology fellowship at the University Of Texas Health Science Center provides a well-rounded neuroradiology education with exposure to a wide variety of clinical pathology. Our section provides neuroimaging coverage for the University Hospital System, South Texas Veterans Health Care System, and UT Health’s Imaging Centers.
Six board-certified neuroradiologists provide extensive training in basic neuroradiology (including brain, spine, and head & neck imaging). In addition, the fellow will be trained in the following advanced neuroimaging techniques:
- Functional MRI
- Diffusion Tensor Imaging
- Tractography
- MR Perfusion Imaging
- CT Perfusion Imaging
- Phase-Contrast MRI evaluation of CSF flow
- MR Spectroscopy
The neuroradiology fellow will received dedicated instruction in the following invasive procedures:
- Digital Subtraction Cerebral Angiography
- CT Myelography
- Lumbar Puncture
- Disk Aspirations
- CT Guided Biopsies
