Mission
The mission of The Department of Urology at The UT Health San Antonio, is to make lives better through excellence in training, research, and urologic health care. Our strategies to achieve this mission include: training a diverse group of students, residents and fellows to excel in our core values; leading novel research efforts to understand and treat urologic disease; providing an inclusive and professional environment that fosters individual growth and compassion; and creating solutions to challenges in urologic disease, training, and health care.

Our Research
The objective of our clinical and basic science research is to make meaningful advancements in our understanding, treatment, and prevention of urologic diseases in order to optimize patient care.
