Musculoskeletal (MSK) Imaging and Intervention Fellowship

As a prominent tertiary care center located in South and Central Texas, UT Health San Antonio’s Department of Radiology is a comprehensive and enriching fellowship in Musculoskeletal (MSK) Imaging and Intervention. Our institution, serving a diverse patient population across various socioeconomic classes, geographical regions, and health conditions, stands as a Level I Trauma Center in one of the most populous cities in the United States. The vast exposure to MSK imaging, coupled with a high volume of varied and interesting cases, makes our health system an ideal setting for fellows seeking advanced training in MSK imaging and intervention.
Our one-year fellowship aims to train fellows in advanced image interpretation of the MSK system and proficiency in image-guided MSK procedures. The modalities covered include conventional radiography, CT, ultrasound, and MRI, encompassing various MSK processes such as age-related degeneration, trauma, sports-related injuries, infection, oncology, and rheumatology.
