Dr. Blanco introducing guest speakerThe Division of Neonatology at UT Health San Antonio advances the educational experience of residents, fellows, and faculty by bringing nationally recognized experts to San Antonio each year through invited lectures and academic conferences. Through generous philanthropic support, the division sponsors several distinguished annual lectureships that foster innovation, collaboration, and excellence in neonatal-perinatal medicine.

 

 

These programs include the Julian Endowed Lectureship, which focuses on neonatal Students at NICU 2026 lectureresuscitation and features both a departmental Grand Rounds presentation and a divisional lecture; the Ramamurthy Endowed Neurodevelopmental Follow-Up Lecture Series, which highlights advances in developmental care for NICU patients and evidence-based strategies to optimize long-term outcomes for NICU graduates; and the Neonatal Nutrition and Bone Institute Lectureship, focused on the evolving field of neonatal nutrition and metabolic health.

In addition, the Neonatal-Perinatal Research Conference at Alamo City brings NICU fellows and pediatric residents from across the country together to present original research, collaborate with peers, and learn from invited experts through annually rotating themes in neonatal-perinatal medicine.

These educational programs reflect the division’s deep commitment to advancing neonatal care for the smallest and most vulnerable patients and their families.
