Message from Division Chief

My name is Dr. Cynthia L. Blanco.  Our vision is for UT Health San Antonio Neonatology to be the leader of neonatal health in the region.  In our level four NICU, we provide the highest quality patient care, cutting-edge treatments through a wide range of clinical and translational research in a fostering teaching environment.

We are committed to making lives better by providing excellent high-quality care, education, research and community engagement.  We enhance our mission with a culture of respect and inclusion of staff, trainees, faculty and patients.

As a leader in neonatal nutritional research and education, it is an honor to lead this incredible, multidisciplinary team.  Not only do we provide great care to the community, my mission is for us to be a leader in neonatal health in the country.
