Dr. Villarreal is UT Health San Antonio’s inaugural PHM fellow. He served as an administrative third year chief resident during his residency at UT Health San Antonio.

“Within Pediatric Hospital Medicine, I plan to focus on enhancing medical education, developing efficient inpatient protocols, and mastering pediatric sedation. I am thrilled to learn alongside exceptional pediatric hospitalists and subspecialists while serving the community of San Antonio.”
