The Department of Neurosurgery recently celebrated the graduation of Grant Booher, M.D., Ian McDougall, M.D., and Vaibhav Patel, M.D. During the ceremony, our faculty and staff had the opportunity to recognize the contributions these graduates made to our department during their residency. Resident Paper Competition Success

Congratulations to Dr. Clay Samples for his success earlier this month at the annual meeting of the J. Bradley Aust Surgical Society. Dr. Samples won third place in the Resident Paper Competition for his article entitled “Role of Follow-up CT Scans in the Management of Traumatic Pediatric Epidural Hematomas.”
Laddie, the Therapy Dog

Laddie, a therapy dog from Paws Up Pet Therapy, visited the Neurocritical Care staff this afternoon to relieve some stress and make everyone smile. Laddie enjoys herding cats, giving high fives, and being treated to the occasional Whatburger Justaburger patty.
